Ridgerunner Forestry, LLC is a full service Forestry and Wildlife Management consulting firm located in beautiful Floyd County, Virginia. The business opened its doors in 1988 when the owner, Gary R. Long, began offering forestry and wildlife management services to the public. Gary received a B.S. in Forestry and Wildlife from Virginia Tech in 1983, and continued his education there by completing the M.B.A. program in December 2000. He is a registered forester in West Virginia and North Carolina (there is no Virginia registration at this time), is an active member of the Association of Consulting Foresters (ACF), and holds the Certified Forester (CF) designation from the Society of American Foresters (SAF).
